Аннотация
The paper deals with the problem of control of an inverted pendulum mounted on a movable cart. The cart can be moved along a guide rail. There is a dry friction force between the cart and the rail, and this force can be regulated by springs which are included in the construction of the cart. The control goal is stabilization of the pendulum in the upper position with the prescribed position of the cart on the guide rail. There is a problem of compensation the substantial nonlinear disturbance (dry friction force). The article is devoted to a new relay control law synthesis, which helps to attenuate the perturbation and solve the mentioned problem with the given accuracy.

According to the article, the modeling process of every digital twin can be divided into three stages: the development of SysML (The Systems Modeling Language) diagrams , the use of AnyLogic as a tool for simulation modeling, and the use of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) for communication with production systems. Also, it is suggested to evaluate the efficiency of a digital production process using two numerical indicators: the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) coefficient, the MCE (Manufacturing Cycle Effectiveness) coefficient.

Аннотация
Wind plant power output behaves like a function that strongly depends on the value and direction of wind speed, but the weather conditions have plenty of parameters that can affect the output. In this work, we are aimed to merge two different datasets to get the application for a wind turbine model. The first dataset contains weather parameters while the second consists of the wind power production for a region. Then we estimate the parameters of an equivalent wind turbine to evaluate physical model baseline. On the next step, we build and tune regression machine learning models: the gradient boosting with decision trees, Gaussian process, neural network and support vector machine. Additionally, we perform the sensitivity analysis for the most accurate trained models and get the most reliable weather parameters.

Аннотация
Historically, power systems were dispatched in a centralized way when all control actions are processed from one control center. However, centralized optimization is not applicable for large interconnected power systems of several independent Transmission System Operators (TSOs) due to the enormous size of the optimization problem and the tendency of each TSO to preserve the autonomy of own controlled area and secure primary data. Alternatively, there are two approaches to solve the problem: decentralized and distributed. This paper presents the advantages and drawbacks of methods in each group as well as numerical results of subgradient and interior point methods performance. The distributed optimization by subgradient method is carried out with the use of Python and RastrWin, which is the main program of System Operator in Russia. The decentralized optimization by interior point method is more appropriate to Super Grid projects than the subgradient method due to faster convergence and no need of the central coordinator. Both methods are implemented on 14 and 118 bus IEEE systems and mutually compared by the objective function value, the number of iterations and computation time.

Аннотация
The paper addresses the problem of wind energy generation forecasting. We perform the comparative analysis of the design factors of the wind generator power in case of using different height adjustment functions (power and logarithmic) and without normalization to height. The analysis is based on installed capacity utilization factors (ICUF) comparison. Distribution functions such as one, two and three parameter Weibull distribution, Rayleigh distribution and Grincevich table distribution are compared in terms of a resulting probability density, modal value and resulting installed capacity utilization factor (ICUF). The case study is based on real data including meteorological database.

Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems play a major role in energy consumption of modern buildings. Nowadays, the main challenge for the design of HVAC systems is the development of efficient methods of control to reduce energy consumption and provide comfortable climate conditions in buildings. One of the key factors influenced on climate conditions is the number of people in the room. The main goal of our study was to implement the modified Rule-based control that used occupancy information. The comparison between traditional Rule-based control and standard control of the HVAC system in the building shows the potential to increase the efficiency of HVAC systems.
