Аннотация
We consider a classical problem of linear static state feedback design in the linear system subject to a nonstandard constraint that the control vector has as many zero components as possible. A simple approach to approximate solutions of such kind of nonconvex problems is proposed, which is based on convexification. The problem reduces to the minimization of special matrix norms subject to the constraints in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The approach can be generalized to numerous problems of robust and optimal control that admit a “sparse” reformulation. To the best of our knowledge, both the solution and the problem formulation are new.

Using the linear matrix inequality technique, in this paper we construct a convex estimate of the attraction domain for a linear system with L2-bounded control in the form of linear static state feedback. A robust statement of the problem is also studied, when the control system contains structured matrix uncertainty. The results of numerical simulations are presented.

Research in the transient response in linear systems with nonzero initial conditions was initiated by A.A. Feldbaum in his pioneering work [1] as early as in 1948. However later, studies in this direction have faded down, and since then, the notion of transient process basically means the response of the system with zero initial conditions to the unit step input. A breakthrough in this direction is associated with the paper [2] by R.N. Izmailov, where large deviations of the trajectories from the origin were shown to be unavoidable if the poles of the closed-loop system are shifted far to the left in the complex plane. In this paper we continue the analysis of this phenomenon for systems with nonzero initial conditions. Namely, we propose a more accurate estimate of the magnitude of the peak and show that the effect of large deviations may be observed for different root locations. We also present an upper bound on deviations by using the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique. This same approach is then applied to the design of a stabilizing linear feedback aimed at diminishing deviations in the closed-loop system. Related problems are also discussed, e.g., such as analysis of the transient response of systems with zero initial conditions and exogenous disturbances in the form of either unit step function or harmonic signal.

Procedures aggregating individual preferences into a collective choice differ in their vulnerability to manipulations. To measure it, one may consider the share of preference profiles where manipulation is possible in the total number of profiles, which is called Nitzan-Kelly’s index of manipulability. The problem of manipulability can be considered in different probability models. There are three models based on anonymity and neutrality: impartial culture model (IC), impartial anonymous culture model (IAC), and impartial anonymous and neutral culture model (IANC). In contrast to the first two models, the IANC model, which is based on anonymity and neutrality axioms, has not been widely studied. In addition, there were no attempts to derive the difference of probabilities (such as Nitzan-Kelly’s index) in IC and IANC analytically. We solve this problem and show in which cases the upper bound of this difference is high enough, and in which cases it is almost zero. These results enable us to simplify the computation of indices.

Во второй части статьи рассматривается расширение задачи реконструкции слов по заданному мультимножеству подслов, предположительно порожденных смещением окна фиксированной длины со сдвигом 1, связанное с наличием дополнительных ограничений на допустимые решения. Изучен случай, когда эти ограничения определяются запрещенными словами. Получено решение задачи, основанное на поиске эйлеровых путей в мультиорграфе де Брейна с дополнительной операцией редукции ребер и применением специальных алгебраических операций умножения матриц смежности, определенных в первой части статьи.

This article is devoted to optimizing the methodical base for improving adequacy of estimates obtained during analysis of information security risks in modern wireless networks. In this work, a method of accounting for risk dynamics indicators is proposed, based on the model of a generalized attack on an IEEE 802.11 wireless network and experimental data about average duration of implementation of various phases of attacks. Necessary adaptation of tools provided within the framework of fuzzy multiple risk analysis of wireless networks has been performed. Based on the proposed approach, forecasts of changes in risk magnitude were obtained, which ensures additional flexibility in choosing measures to protect a wireless network from economic viability point of view.
