The methodology of multicriterial indexation of urban “well-being” proposed by UN-Habitat is reviewed and analyzed.

Control problems for multicommodity stock with random demand are considered. Special models and methods based on linear approximation of stock consumption functions are proposed for solution of these problems. Results of numerical experiments with proposed models and methods are presented.

We consider a planning and scheduling algorithm on the factory level, where together with mechanical processing of components one also performs assembly of various units used to manufacture the final product, and also a system that implements this algorithm in software.

Consideration was given to the problems of selecting equipment for oil product mixing systems. To solve them, optimization models allowing one not only to select the equipment for the projected system in compliance with the given criteria, but also to schedule mixing of the oil products with the aim of verifying its operability were proposed. Computational experiments corroborated sufficiently high efficiency of the proposed models.

Abstract Scheduling problems of operation of machine-building enterprises are considered, the composition of which includes a few manufacturing systems and sections. For their solution, methods for construction of consistent plans of operation of enterprises are suggested, which can be detailed if necessary before the schedule of processing of individual parts.
