The article considers a set of models of the scenario-indicator approach, including the graph model of the disturbance distribution in a complex technical system (CTS) and the scenario model of an influence of internal factors on parameters of the environment. The problem of optimizing the placement of indicators in CTS is formalized.

Score functions like the logarithmic derivative of a probability density function and the t-score are applied in many control problems of dynamic systems. However, their estimation by samples of moderate sizes may require nonparametric estimation of the density and its derivative that is difficult. To overcome this problem we attract a new random variable that is equal to inter-cluster times $T_1(u)$ of the underlying process $\{X_n\}$ normalized by its tail function $\overline{F(u)}$. A cluster contains consecutive exceedances of the process over a threshold $u$ and inter-cluster issues of the process run under $u$. We found that the the logarithmic derivative of the $\overline{F(u)}T_1(u)$ may be approximated by extremal index. The latter can be easily estimated by one of the nonparametric estimators. Another aim is to find a relationship between score functions of a marginal variable $X_t$ generating the process and of the normalized $T_1(u)$. The first score function carries the information about distribution, while the other one about dependence structure. We also consider Fisher score that is the gradient, with respect to some parameter, of the logarithm of the likelihood function. The relationships are demonstrated on ARMAX, moving maxima, moving average and AR(1) processes to illustrate this methodology.

The paper contributes to the teletraffic analysis and quality of service of packet transmission of peer-to-peer systems. We look at the packet transmission processes that are induced by a peer-to-peer overlay disseminating real-time traffic from a statistical perspective. Applying the theory of extreme events, we derive that the asymptotic distribution of the end-to-end packet delay (i.e. packet delivery time between sender and receiver peers) is subexponential heavy-tailed if the inter-arrival times between packets are regularly varying heavy-tailed distributed. To evaluate the probability to miss a packet as a quality-of-service attribute one requires a set of observable variables based on the realized flows such as the end-to-end packet delays, the packet inter-arrival times and packet lengths of single or aggregated streams associated with a peer.

Аннотация
The LQ-problems of controller design for discrete-time plant with prescribed upper stabilization accuracy limit with respect to stationary response variance criterion is considered. It is proved that control purpose is attainable in the class of stationary perturbations of fixed power and known spectrum localization. The iterative design procedure is suggested and exponential dependence of upper accuracy limit on number of iterations is established.

Аннотация
An active flutter suppression using linear saturated control is investigated for a 2dof wing section with nonlinear torsional stiffness and limited deflection amplitude of its single actuator. The local suppression of limit cycleoscillations in the nonlinear closed-loop system is achieved through maximization of the stability region of its linearized counterpart and following numerical bifurcation analysis. A globalization scheme is proposed for a locally stabilizing linear saturated controller. Using the scheme, we show global constrained stabilizability of our system.

A control synthesis problem for planar motion of a wheeled robot is considered. The control goal is to bring the robot to a given path and to stabilize motion of a certain target point along it. The trajectory is assumed to be an arbitrary smooth curve with bounded curvature. A simple actuator is introduced into the vehicle model, and the rate of angular rotation of the steering wheels is taken as the control, which is subject to two-sided constraints. In addition, because of phase constraints, the system under consideration is hybrid: at different stages of its motion, it is governed by different systems of differential equations. A control law is synthesized for an arbitrary target path. Qualitative analysis of the straight line case is given. Results of numerical experiments are presented.

C использованием основных положений теории каскадных структур по Колмогорову проведено исследование фрактальной размерности и показателя перемежаемости для кратковременных подструктур в процессе саморазвития динамической системы фондового рынка. Показано, что сохранение системой упорядоченного развития требует не только бифуркаций удвоения периода реализуемого цикла, но и обратного движения – бифуркаций уменьшения периода вдвое, отдаляющих приближение системы к хаосу.

The problem of finding the eigenvector corresponding to the largest eigenvalue of a stochastic matrix has numerous applications in ranking search results, multi-agent consensus, networked control and data mining. The well-known power method is a typical tool for its solution. However randomized methods could be competitors vs standard ones they require much less calculations for one iteration and are well-tailored for distributed computations. We propose a novel adaptive randomized algorithm and provide an explicit upper bound for its rate of convergence O(sqrt(ln(N/n))), where N is the dimension and n is the number of iterations. The bound looks promising because sqrt(lnN) is not large even for very high dimensions. The proposed algorithm is based on the mirrordescent method for convex stochastic optimization.
