We present two generalizations of the concept of equilibrium in secure strategies. In equilibrium contained by counter-threats (ECCT), no player can increase its payoff by a unilateral deviation without creating a threat to lose more than it wins. This condition must be satisfied for any pseudo-equilibrium in the generalized sense and, therefore, any such equilibrium must belong to the set of ECCT. The second generalization is the complex equilibrium in secure strategies. The proposed concept allows identifying a hierarchical structure of mutual threats between players and will be useful for the analysis of problems with asymmetric behavior of players. Search algorithms for the proposed equilibria and their examples in matrix games are provided.

Consideration was given to the problem of robust stochastic filtering in a finite horizon for the linear discrete time-varying system. A random disturbance with inaccurately known probabilistic distribution is fed to the system input. Uncertainty of the input disturbance is defined in the information-theoretical terms by the anisotropy functional of a random vector. The sufficient condition for strict boundedness of the anisotropic norm of linear discrete timevarying system assigned by the threshold value (lemma of real boundedness) was proved in terms of the matrix inequalities. Sufficient conditions for boundedness of the anisotropic norm of two limiting cases of the anisotropy levels of the input disturbance (a = 0 and a → ∞) were established. A sufficient existence condition for the estimator guaranteeing boundedness of the anisotropic norm of the estimation error operator by the given threshold value was formulated and proved. Sufficient existence conditions for the estimators of two limiting cases of the anisotropy levels of input disturbance were obtained. The estimation algorithm relies on the recurrent solution of a system of matrix inequalities.

Proposed was a reliability model of the network project as a complex technical system where the probability of failure-free execution of an activity (project component) was used as the quantitative index of its reliability, and the resulting guaranteed lower estimate of the project, as its reliability index. This approach underlies the formulation of the problem of scheduling not only under resource constraints, but also with regard for the project reliability index. Consideration was given to minimization of the project execution time (main criterion) in terms of the constrained cost and estimate of the project reliability index, as well as in terms the cost in the determinate network model of the project (second criterion) where project reliability satisfies the guaranteed lower bound both for the OR-network and the special case of the AND-network. This approach enabled formulation of the scheduling problem not only under the resource, but also reliability constraints.

An idea of the adaptive approach to the construction (design) of measuring systems is developed. An analysis is given of the features of technical adaptive systems and also the specific character of the means of measurements of both their subclass and the object of application of the adaptation principle. On the basis of the analysis, the concept is set up of the construction of these means, according to which the given principle is considered as an instrument of their perfection and its application is extended to all stages of their design from the choice of the principle (principles) of the action to the organization of the procedure of the output control (primary verification) in their series production. The effectiveness of the concept is illustrated by examples of the solution of the earlier unsolved problems and statement of new problems

Consideration was given to the model containing coupled subsystems (MCCS). With no connection between the subsystems, the MCCS falls down into independent subsystems, that is, systems of autonomous ordinary differential equations. MCCS with cycles in the subsystems were examined. For the autonomous MCCS, conditions were established for cycles and their stability, and a cycle stabilization by the control explicitly independent of time was proposed. For the periodic MCCS, generation of isolated periodic solutions was proved, and the problem of their stability and stabilization was solved.

Аннотация
A microwave method and a microwave device for measurement of water content in flowing crude oil are proposed. The method is based on measuring power of electromagnetic waves propagated through a transmission line and reflected from the load that is a TEM resonator, determining extrema of relative reflected wave power depending on frequency, and finding coordinates (relative power and frequency) of these extrema. Two modifications of the device are described for the measurement of water content within 0.01–30% and 0.01–100%. Their sensors are a coaxial line filled in with low-loss dielectric with sectorial flowed-through channel in it and a twisted two-wire line whose conductors are dielectrically-coated respectively. Results of laboratory experiments and tests in real conditions are presented.

Consideration was given to the model containing coupled subsystems (MCCS). In the absence of coupling, MCCS falls down into independent subsystems represented by autonomous ordinary differential equations (ODE). In the structure of the entire system its subsystems make up hierarchical levels. The autonomous MCCS was studied. The “cycle or family of periodic motions” alternative was shown to be always realized by an individual system in a nondegenerate situation. For the main mode of oscillations, a scenario was given for bifurcation of the family of all families of periodic solutions arising with generation of the MCCS cycles. Consideration was given to stability of cycles, and the problem of their stabilization was solved.

Abstract—Proposed were algorithms implementing the method of randomization for the digital measurement of the resonance frequency using the frequency or amplitude modulation of the frequency synthesizer output by a random signal. Formulas were obtained for systematic and random error of these algorithms. Numerical study of the randomization method was carried out using a model of the sensing element of the resonance detection device. The algorithm of one-dimensional frequency randomization was shown to demonstrate the best metrological parameters.

This paper suggests an automated expert approach to analysis and synthesis of the terminological structure of a subject area. A key distinction is that the designed procedure employs formal analysis operations to obtain numerical characteristics for the terminological structure of a studied subject area.
