We study the problem of manipulation in voting and extend the individual manipulability results in Favardin and Lepelley for the case of multiple choice, impartial culture, and consider 3, 4, and, for some cases, 5 alternatives. For impartial culture, the results in general are similar to impartial anonymous culture case. For multiple choice and 3 alternatives, results are consistent only for some extension axioms, but for Leximax extension, the Hare and Inverse Borda's rules are among the least manipulable ones. For considered cases for 4 and 5 alternatives, Borda's rule is the least manipulable one for manipulability with reactions (Type IV in Favardin and Lepelley classification).

The final and one of the most important stages of the aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) flight is landing. In this regard, the problem of automating the control by UAV landing in difficult meteorological conditions is becoming increasingly urgent. In some cases, for refueling and recharging UAVs it is advisable to use the dynamic mobile landing site (MLS) instead of the traditional stationary landing site (SLS). In the present paper, we consider the setting and solution of the control problem by the terminal landing maneuver of a UAV. It provides its transfer from the current initial state to the target final state along “flexible” kinematic trajectories both on the SLS and on the MLS. To solve the problem of the automatic landing of UAV on SLS or MLS the mathematical model of the dynamics of its movement was developed. It’s based on the concept of “flexible” kinematic trajectories with spatial synchronization of controlled movements. The control algorithm by the terminal vertical landing maneuver of UAV on SLS by the method of dynamics inverse problem using the principle of “flexible” kinematic trajectories is developed. Also, the control algorithm by the terminal landing maneuver of UAV on MLS by the method of dynamics inverse problems using the principles of “flexible” kinematic trajectories and aiming into the target point was also developed. Computer approbation of the synthesized control algorithms for the landing maneuver of UAV «Aerosonde» under conditions of various wind disturbances was carried out using digital modeling in the Matlab environment.

In the chapter, we examine the possibility to use service dataflow extracted from logs of events of various elements for the analysis of the security of cyber-physical systems. The urgency of security providing for such complexes and their separate components is stipulated by a considerable number of security incidents as the violation of their faultless continuous functioning can lead to the damage of to people’s life and health, to the disruption of the functioning of the subsistence means of the population and other technogenic catastrophes. A normalization procedure of service dataflow is offered, allowing to generate groups of objects and properties and to ensure the process is such a way that semantically similar data are allocated in the same taxonomic fields. Besides, we examined the possibility to use the correlation of events in the conditions of uncertainty of infrastructure to define the hierarchy of asset types and the most significant objects. The approach is based on the detection of connections between events of security and the estimation of the dependence of their relative force on the distribution of events in time, based on the calculation and use of correlation coefficients. Such an approach allows us to reveal the main types of objects of the infrastructure, their characteristics, and hierarchy by analyzing empirical data, as well as to compare the criticality of objects based on static and dynamic indexes. We present the results of the experiment according to which the application of the given procedure allows us to lower information loss during the transformation of models of identified objects. The implementation of the studied approach to the correlation of events has some limitations in the case with a heterogeneous infrastructure; however, it can be used to develop a short-term pattern of interaction object with a homogeneous infrastructure in cyber-physical systems. Also, it is shown that automation of the detection of elements and the hierarchy of connections between them as well as the estimation of their criticality allows us to more precisely and in more detail develop a model of risks for the security analysis.

At present, monitoring of technical state of complicated technical objects under different attacks and destabilizing factors, aging, and dispersion of technological parameters is a crucial problem. Requirements to the quality, security, and reliability of complicated technical systems are consistently increased. In this chapter, we propose new method for adaptive control of technical states of the radio-electronic systems. This approach is based on the interval complex estimation of parameters, use of knowledge base of the critical and regular states, and also inner connections between the controlled parameters considering the false negative and false positive ratios. Multidimensional presentation of technical state of the controlled systems is possible using the accurate monitoring of technical states of the radio-electronic systems, increased accuracy and reliability of state identification, and extended possibilities of control and diagnostic equipment.

The robotization of industries and daily life activities had long been transformed from innovation and curiosity to reality. The use of collaborative robots (cobots) has now become widespread, capable of safely working together with a human in a single working space and increasing the efficiency of work in professions that are cannot be automated easily so far. The researchers and economists are making optimistic projections of increasing the rate of adoption of robots and cobots both in industries and in everyday human activities. However, there are difficulties and problems on the way to mass robotization, and construction of the socio-cyber-physical environment, including fear and distrust of robots, differences in the attitude towards robots in different countries and social groups, incomprehension of the relevance of robotization, etc. In addition, there are well- known problems, that are still under discussion and have no ready solutions. In this article we consider the current state of affairs in the sphere of deployment of cobots in the world and Russia, consider optimistic forecasts of the process of robotization, but also form a list of known and potential problems and negative factors, that could potentially hamper the implementation of plans for mass robotization and cobotization of industries and society, and provide our common vision of the solution of these problems.

Software verification and validation is the principal and most common type of activity for ensuring the quality of software systems, including those with a rising risk of the operation, throughout the entire life cycle. The software for systems important for nuclear power-plant (NPP safety) is subject to increased requirements for reliability and stability of operation, and for cybersecurity. The complex structure of automated process control systems of NPP and a large number of cybersecurity management tools make it difficult to verify and use cybersecurity management tools at all stages of the object’s life cycle from design to operation. The paper proposes a methodology for verifying and validating software for systems important to NPP safety, based on a high-qualitative cybersecurity management model to ensure the required level of cybersecurity. The methodology allows it to apply the concept of adaptive testing and simulate making and eliminating errors at each stage of software development. This methodology is using in the development of top-level systems of NPP APCS.

The paper describes the stages of a smart city's concept from the point of view of transport. Simultaneously, the concept of smart cities is intimately interconnected with the use of unmanned vehicles. The hardware components resolve the unmanned vehicle to see, communicate, and move. The unmanned vehicle software provides the perception of sensor data, planning, and motion control based on the processed data. But the use of the unmanned vehicle is associated with risks and security issues associated with vulnerabilities in both software and hardware. In this regard, the necessity of developing safety management systems for unmanned vehicles is shown, based on identifying risk factors and assessing their degree of danger, as well as examples of sources of the main vulnerabilities of intelligent unmanned vehicles. The necessity of using safety functions is shown to determine how the control system of an unmanned vehicle meets the requirements for this system at all stages of the life cycle.

The applicability of the data on the mean age of death (MAD) of people presented on Wikipedia to determine the survival patterns with respect to professional occupations is considered. The results of previous studies are described. Features of these data related to censorship and the selective nature of their collection are discussed. The proposed approach to account for these features makes it possible to clarify the obtained patterns and to expand the time range of the study.

Аннотация
The phenomenon of multiphasic survival curves found in drosophila is confirmed in experiments on daphnids. Mathematical modeling showed that the multiphasic nature of daphnids survival curves reflected abrupt changes in the death rate of objects during phase transition. The phase of a sharp increase in mortality observed at an early age in intact drosophila occurs in daphnids only as reaction to a negative impact. The induction of reactive changes by weak external signals resulted in decreased survival for young daphnids. A logical conclusion was made about the reaction readiness for each experimental individual. It is proven that the predisposition to reaction in daphnia persists for an indefinitely large number of generations. It is postulated that this reaction has an epigenetic nature. Earlier experimental materials suggest that a reaction of this type is widespread in natural surroundings.
