This paper studies the modified mathematical model of the natural technologies of an organism. The synergy effect caused by damaging the basic system components of an organism is explored at the qualitative level. Finally, we introduce a certain measure of organism’s integral degradation; the measure serves for obtaining some quantitative estimates of the synergy effect.

Аннотация
This paper explores the properties of Euler resource networks that represent homogeneous, symmetrical and quasi-symmetrical resource networks. In the case of small resource amounts, we derive an analytical expression for a unique limit state. In the case of large resource amounts, we establish that the limit state in such a network fully depends on the initial state and obtain corresponding formulas. The limit vector is calculated for the class of initial states preserving network operation rules at all vertices. For the other initial states, a recursive algorithm is suggested for reducing them to the former class.

This paper studies the properties of resource networks with sink vertices called absorbing resource networks. In the presence of at least two sinks, the resource distribution in the limit state depends on the initial state of the network. We formulate two control problems in such networks. Sinks are treated as goal vertices. Control vertices represent some subset of vertices in the transition component.

The problem of oscillation stabilization is solved for the autonomous system in the case when the oscillations form a monoparametric family. For each possible point type of the family the explicit formulae that solve the problem are obtained. It follows from those formulae that the dissipation is a necessary condition of the stabilization. The obtained sufficient conditions of the stabilizations coinside with the appropriate necessary conditions to within the sign of unstrict inequality.

Consideration was given to the single-frequency oscillations of the periodic system allied to the nonlinear multidimensional autonomous system. It was assumed that the generating autonomous system admits a family of solutions with period depending on a single parameter: all points of the family break down into the ordinary points whose derivative of the period with respect to the parameter is other than zero and the critical points where this derivative vanishes. Generation of oscillations and their stability at the ordinary point of the family were studied. These problems were solved earlier for the second-order system.

Abstract—Mathematical modeling of the population dynamics is performed for states of a three-level system (atom) with a V-type configuration transforming a light pulse. It is assumed that the excited eigenstates of the atom are degenerate and coupled by coherent interaction, one of the states being radiating (radiative), while the other state is nonradiating (“dark”). The population dynamics of atomic states is described on the basis of numerical solutions of equations for the matrix elements of the density operator. The dependence of the effi- ciency of population of the atomic dark state from the values of the parameters of an irradiation pulse and from the ratio of the period of population oscillations of excited atomic states (caused by their coherent interaction) to the lifetime of the atomic radiating state is determined. Typical examples of the time dependence of the pop- ulation of states of the atom considered are presented for the cases of irradiation by a short (as compared to the lifetime of the radiating state) sinusoidal light pulse and by a long rectangular light pulse with the resonance carrier frequency. Аннотация
The review of a number of non-classical flow models and threshold models of spreading activity in a network is given. The description of flow models with nonstandard reachability is provided. Integer-valued threshold models to which “chip-firing game” and “probabilistic abacus” belongs are described. The model of self-organized criticality and its graph interpretation is described. We show the basic properties of a real “real-valued network” threshold model, and perform comparative analysis of these kinds of models.

To analyze and evaluate the uncertainty of an innovation project, it is considered as a complex engineering system in which the degree of satisfying the desired performance characteristics of a product is modeled by the cumulative probability of its technical success. It is shown that this probability is distributed by the Weibull law. This probability of non-failure execution of a project activity is an index of the activity reliability; it allows one to obtain a lower bound of guaranteed reliability of the whole project. The two-objective problem (time and cost) is represented as the minimization problem by two successive objective functions; this implements the lexicographic method of ordering the solution of one-objective problems by the importance of the objectives in vector-valued optimization. For one-objective convex problems in which the initial data are known inexactly, a regularized solution method is used. The proposed model and method for solving the two-objective problem are used for the development of a computerized integrated system for innovation project planning.
