We suggest a certain model based on a resource network in the form of a regular two-dimensional grid. Nodes of the grid correspond to the amounts of substance concentrated in the given area. On the other hand, the edges of the grid represent the values of cross-currents. Under a specified field of currents, the model simulates distribution of a substance within a given water body

We consider dynamic resource allocation processes in two-sided asymmetrical resource networks with loops and study their stabilization conditions. We show that for a unit total resource, the resource reallocation process defines a regular Markov chain, and the limit state vector corresponds to the vector of limit probabilities and is an eigenvector of the stochastic matrix corresponding to the capacity matrix. We show that (a) for a resource not exceeding some threshold value, the limit state vector also exists, is unique, and is proportional to the limit probability vector; (b) for any connected network, the threshold value of total resource exists and is unique.

We study stabilization processes in resource networks with arbitrary topology for large values of the resource, when certain vertices accumulate the resource, and resource in these vertices exceeds output bandwidth. We introduce the notion of flow in a network and study monotone and nonmonotone flows. We prove existence and uniqueness for the limit flow and, as a corollary, of the limit state. We introduce the notion of a potential attractor and study networks with one and several attractors. We show that in networks with several potential attractors, in case of large resources the limit state depends on the initial state.

This work is devoted to methods of computing the limit state and the limit flow in a resource network for large values of the resource. To do so, we study resource distribution processes in families of networks with various bandwidth matrices corresponding to the same stochastic matrix. The threshold value of the resource T such that the network operates differently on both sides of this value and the coordinates of the limit state vector for vertices that are not attractors are expressed via parameters of the bandwidth matrix and the limit transitions matrix for the Markov chain corresponding to the stochastic matrix in question. If the network has several potential attractors, the limit amount of resource in them depends on the initial state.

Аннотация
Contemporary traditional practice of 3D oil and gas reservoir modelling has severe drawback. Namely, the natural water flow is neglected. The main reason for this consist in complexity of combining two processes - the field development and natural water flow in the reservoir. This paper authors compared carefully four different approaches proposed by arabian and russian specialists for simulation of oil and gas reservoirs with tilted fluid contacts for using in software package of geological and hydrodynamic modeling. Advantages and disadvantages of the proposed approaches are revealed. Additionally, authors propose their own, the most realistic approach to taking into account the natural water flow for 3D simulation of oil and gas reservoirs with tilted fluid contacts and perfoming forecast calculations.

In this paper, we obtain a novel method for the numerical solution of Buckley-Leverett equations, which is based on their differential-geometric properties. This method is fast, accurate, stable, and describes non-smooth phenomena.

The recent progress in developing the gravity and topographic models of Mars [1-3] allows to study the stress field in detail and to recalculate previous estimates of static stresses [4]. It is of importance to identify areas of high values of shear and tension-compression stresses as possible marsquakes focuses, as in 2018 NASA’s Discovery Program mission InSight (Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport) will place a single geophysical lander with a seismometer on Mars to study its deep interior. In this paper we will consider the case of an elastic mantle of Mars.

Modern professional geographic information systems significantly lagged behind in quality of 3D graphics, which complicates their full application in the existing conditions. The main differences of the principles of game engines work from the principles of creation of professional geographic information systems structure are considered in the article. These aspects interfere with construction of modern from the graphic point of view, geographic information systems. The analysis of the contradictions considered in article will allow minimizing them at application of game engines (for example, Unity) for reduction in cost and acceleration of production of modern GIS of new generation.
