The paper develops a method for intercepting targets moving along prescribed trajectories in the field of attraction of a single attracting center in space. The interception is carried out by impulsively-controlled interceptors — spacecraft modeled as material points. The entire interception mission is optimized using a uniform criterion. The NP-hard problem of sequentially visiting multiple moving targets by a group of spacecraft is considered as a dynamic Multiple Traveling Salesmen Problem with Moving Targets. The elementary operation was to find the trajectory between two targets. It was carried out as a solution of the impulsive problem in the central field and then, if necessary, such trajectories were refined using the shooting method to satisfy the constraints of the task. Three different methods of constructing target partitioning by interceptors are described in the course of which initial interception plans were obtained. The developed method assumes that each interceptor’s plan will then be refined both for its assigned group and through mixing of targets between interceptors in the final optimization stage.
