The paper analyzes and compiles the key factors influencing the quality of user stories in the software development process. These factors include clarity and completeness of requirements, technical feasibility, priority of requirements, clarity and understandability of the user story, and others. A Model of Determining the User Stories Quality (MDUSQ) is proposed. This model includes a set of metrics and indicators that help evaluate and determine the quality of user stories. MDUSQ metrics may include quantitative metrics, qualitative metrics and performance metrics. Applying the MDUSQ will help improve requirements during software development and reduce the risk of requirements changes. Analyzing and collecting key quality factors and using MDUSQ metrics will help ensure that user stories are complete, understandable, and meet customer and user needs.
