An energy efficient resource saving intelligent control system for gas production
and gas transportation processes is proposed. The system provides pressure stabilization in the
general reservoir of a cluster of gas wells when the physical and technical parameters of gas
production change within a wide range. An adaptive PID controller with a controlled frequency
of the control signal significantly increases the resource of technical control tools. The system uses a volumetric-vane converter of gas flow energy into electricity. Such a converter ensures energy recovery when the gas pressure entering the area of the switching equipment decreases and when the transition from the main gas pipeline to gas consumers is reduced. This significantly increases the energy efficiency of gas production and transportation.
