A approach to stabilizing the angular position of a large space structure is proposed, which is based on the
prediction of the process of increasing the elastic oscillations of the structure. Of the many multi-frequency oscillations of
the design, the dominant oscillating component is distinguished, information about which is used to predict. An algorithm for
analyzing the dominant component is given. The task of setting the parameters of the basic algorithm for controlling the large
space construction is solved. This setting allows you to stabilize the dominant component without the additional cost of control
energy and ensure the required stabilization.
