The article describes the characteristics of the pulse signal of the radial artery, allowing for effective medical diagnostics. It is shown that for the use of pulse signals of the radial artery in the tasks of medical diagnostics, their formalization is necessary, including by creating models of the pulse signal. A periodization algorithm is described - a set of various procedures for processing a pulse signal, which, with a certain reliability, distinguish periods on a signal and precede other procedures for its analysis. The features of using the spectral characteristics of pulse signals for diagnostics are considered. A toolkit for working with such signals is presented.
