In order to save consumptions of energies and produce better quality strips at higher production rates with lower operation cost, various studies have been performed on the hot will technology, automation and equipment. Optimal control technologies are given for Bulgarian, Russian and Japanese strip lines. In the study, the slab thickness are selected as controlling parameters in economic-mathematical optimization method.
