The article deals with the options of building a 5G backbone network based on a millimeter-wave E-band mesh network. The possibility of the use of MIMO technology for the formation of simultaneous several divergent beams is described, as well as the possibility of frequency duplexing, which allows each mesh-network station to perform simultaneous reception and transmission. The super-frame structure and STDMA media access scheme are considered for the developing mesh-network. The solution of the problem of distribution of time-frequency resources in the backbone E-band networks using the graph approach is described and a heuristic algorithm to improve the efficiency of distribution is presented.
