Аннотация
The paper presents the analysis of the dynamics of socio-economic conditions of the cities of the Leningrad region, which in Soviet period had regional airports. The author concluded that the closure of small airports contributed to the negative trends however, a number of cities due to the opening of new industries have been able to mitigate negative conditions of economic development.
