Аннотация
The paper is devoted to upper level control systems of NPP APCS (automated control systems of nuclear power plants). In the paper, a critical analysis of achievements in this area in the light of changes in the science, engineering, and society having taken places within the last 15 years is presented. A description of new features of the next generation systems is proposed.
