We propose a model of proliferative growth for a plant type cell structure, in which cell division is governed by two activating hormones. The model adequately reproduces all basic features of a whole plant’s growth. This allows to consider the HR-model as the first, though very much simplified, model of vegetative growth of a multicellular terrestrial plant governed by the gradients of endogenous phytohormones. We built out a software package for interactive model computations and present here modeling results.
