13th International Conference on Parallel Computing Technologies (PaCT-2015), August 31-September 4, 2015.

WELCOME

The Institute of Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Geophysics (Russian Academy of Sciences), Novosibirsk State University, Institute of Applied Mathematical Research (Karelian Research Centre of Russian Academy of Sciences), and Petrozavodsk State University are jointly organizing the 13th International Conference on Parallel Computing Technologies (PaCT-2015) to be held in Petrozavodsk, Russia, August 31-September 4, 2015.

The previous twelve conferences were held in Novosibirsk (1991), Obninsk (1993), St.-Petersburg (1995, LNCS Vol. 964), Yaroslavl (1997, LNCS Vol. 1277), Pushkino (1999, LNCS Vol.1662), Novosibirsk (2001, LNCS Vol.2127), Nizhniy Novgorod (2003, LNCS Vol. 2763), Krasnoyarsk (2005, LNCS Vol. 3606), Pereslavl-Zalessky (2007, LNCS Vol. 4671), Novosibirsk (2009, LNCS Vol. 5698), Kazan (2011, LNCS Vol. 6873), and in Saint-Petersburg (2013, LNCS Vol. 7979).

The aim of the PaCT-2015 is to give an overview of new developments, applications, and trends in parallel computing technologies. We sincerely hope that the conference will help our community to deepen understanding of parallel computing technologies by providing a forum for an exchange of views between scientists and specialists from all over the world. We welcome your active participation.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Original papers are solicited for the conference. A full paper (up to 15 pages) should be submitted by February 15, 2015. An extended abstract (5-7 pages) can be submitted by March 2, 2015. Please, bear in mind that it is more difficult for the Program Committee to decide about your work having just an abstract in hand. All contributions will be reviewed by the international Program Committee. Authors will be notified of acceptance by April 15, 2015. We will require camera-ready full papers by May 25, 2015.

In order to submit a paper or just indicate your interest in the PaCT-2015, please register at the site of the conference http://ssd.sscc.ru/conference/pact2015 and follow the instructions which you will find there. A paper submission system will be activated on the 10th of December, 2014. If you face any difficulties using this site, please contact the Secretary (pact2015@ssd.sscc.ru). Only electronic submission of manuscripts is possible.
The first page should include (but not be limited to) the following information: title, authors' full names, affiliation, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses. To gain the better understanding of your abstract, we also request it to include the following information: short review of related papers, formulation of the problem, objectives, description of results, main ideas, and list of references.

The organizers expect that the authors of selected papers will present their work at the Conference.

Proposals for workshops and 1/2 and full day tutorials will be considered.

TECHNICAL DETAILS
Submissions should be prepared in the style of Springer Verlag LNCS series (Microsoft Word, LaTex). Please look at http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0

PROCEEDINGS
The Conference Proceedings is planned to be published as the volume of the Springer Verlag LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science: indexed by Scopus, Web of Science, etc.) series and distributed at the Conference. We plan also to publish selected papers in a special issue of an indexed international journal.
