— This paper is intended to explain the basic ideas to design digital algorithms for identification of unmeasured parameters of a motor and a control plant, which are needed to achieve a good performance of an advanced drive. The main idea is to use the information of the components of the state vector and control one from the different quantization periods. Using the linear multidimensional discrete-time system, which is the mathematical model of the control plant, solves the identification problem. As a result, there is an identification condition that connects the memory depth, the quantization frequency and the quantity of the identified parameters. Original digital algorithm of the inertias moment identification is proposed and designed. The simulation has confirmed high quality and high dynamic accuracy.
