A method is proposed for finding the sign invariant regions for the eigenvalues of affine families of symmetric matrices. The approach is based on the D-decomposition technique it is particularly efficient for low dimensional problems. Generalizations of the method are discussed along with its modifications to the problems with uncertainty.
