The object of research in this work is one of the most important parts of an integrated system for analyzing the quality of natural gas – a system of sensors of individual gas components. Failure of any sensor is a difficultly detected event and its failure actually does not lead to the termination of the system operation, but to the incorrect determination of the components in the gas composition (which, in terms of consequences, is much more critical than an explicit failure). Therefore, the reliability of the sensor system in this work will be considered from the point of view of ensuring the specified measurement accuracy of the components included in the composition of the gas mixture.
