Goal-setting cannot be completely described in a formalized way. The complexity of the goal-setting process is due to the influence of many factors on it, some of which are unknown. This complexity can be qualitatively characterized by considering emotions, the individual and the collective unconscious. In this case, it is useful to apply the inverse problem-solving method on topological space.
