In this paper, applications of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) in the control, computing and communication area for systems integration of research activities and innovation implementation are considered. The DEA approach includes a wide range of concepts and possibilities for evaluating the efficiency and analyzing the behavior of complex objects. The methodology has multiaspect relationships with theoretical economics, systems analysis, and multicriteria optimization. The focus of this work lies on a brief overview of DEA applications and patents in distributed computer and telecommunication networks, and other technologies.
