The article considers issues of supporting organizational management systems information security as per its ability to resist hostile, destructive factors of natural, technogenic and social character. The priority targets en-suring national interests of the Russian Federation in the information sphere are suggested.The current pursuit of alternative ways of mankind safe and steady development and attendant threats generates the social order to scientific teams and their researches, connected both with the analysis of these threats and their prevent and liquidation in the case of occurrence. The security professionals prefer to lean in their activity on the mod-ern scientific approach, instead of wasting time on outdated, ineffective methods. The invention and development of a new interdisciplinary approach which could be called the risk and safety theory is on the agenda.
