MEETING SCOPE AND OBJECTIVE

MICNON-2015 is going to be the first of a new conference series that is organized by the IFAC Technical Committee on Nonlinear Systems. The scope of the conference will cover all areas of nonlinear systems theory and applications in science and engineering, including control of nonlinear systems, analysis of nonlinear systems, modelling and identification of nonlinear systems and all types of applications in connection to nonlinear systems. English will be the off icial language of the Workshop. No simultaneous translation will be provided.

TOPICS

  • modeling and identification of nonlinear systems
  • control of nonlinear systems
  • stability and complex dynamics
  • networked nonlinear systems
  • stochastic control systems
  • control of networks
  • control with limited information
  • nonlinear systems with time delay
  • distrurbance rejection
  • switching control
  • adaptive control and signal processing for nonlinear and other related topics

SESSIONS

Call for Contributed Papers: Papers are invited in the form of regular manuscripts. All papers must conform to the submission policy, and describe previously unpublished original work. There will not be a separate category for short papers, and papers that are too brief will not be considered.

Call for Invited Sessions: Invited sessions consist of 6 papers each presenting an unifying theme from a diversity of viewpoints. These papers will be subjected to the same review process as contributed papers, and may be replaced by appropriate contributed papers. If a proposed session is rejected, selected papers may still be accepted and published as regular contributed papers.

Call for Workshops:    Workshops to be held prior  to the conference are solicited on all related topics. Proposals for workshops addressing novel control methodologies and nonstandard control applications are strongly encouraged.

LOCATION

Saint Petersburg is located in the mouth of Neva river near the Finnish Gulf of the Baltic Sea. There are daily flights of major international carriers to the International airport "Pulkovo" of St. Petersburg. It also can be reached from Helsinki, Finland by plane (0.5 hours) or by train (3 hours).

COPYRIGHT CONDITIONS

The material submitted for presentation at an IFAC meeting (Congress, Symposium, Conference, Workshop) must be original, not published or being considered elsewhere. All papers accepted for presentation will papear in the Preprints of the meeting and will be distributed to the participants. Proceedings of the IFAC Congress, Symposia, Conferences and Workshops will be hosted on-line on the IFAC-PapersOnLine.net website. The presented papers will be further screened for possible publication in the IFAC Journals (Automatica, Control Engineering Practice, Annual Reviews in Control, Journal of Process Control, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, and Mechatronics), or in IFAC affiliated journals. All papers presented will be recorded as an IFAC Publication.

Copyright of material presented at an IFAC meeting http://www.ifac-control.org/publications/copyright-conditions  is held by IFAC. Authors will be required to transfer copyrights electronically and/or in hard copy. The IFAC Journals and, after these, IFAC affiliated journals have priority access to all contributions presented. However, if the author is not contacted by an editor of these journals, within three months after the meeting, he/she is free to submit an expanded version of the presented material for journal publication elsewhere. In this case, the paper must carry a reference to the IFAC meeting where it was originally presented and, if the paper has appeared on the website http://www.ifac-papersonline.net  also a reference to this publication.
